FEDERAL DEBT AND TAXATION

  • Income tax and Corporate tax to remain at levels set per the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

  • When federal spending exceeds tax revenue, the top 1% income earners are taxed an additional amount to make up the difference.

  • When tax revenue exceeds federal spending, the top 1% income earners receive a tax refund.

  • Members of the House of Representatives, Senators, and the President will be equal to the average earned income of the constituents they represent.

  • All federal government pension plans to be converted to individual retirement plans.

HEALTH CARE

  • The federal government should never be allowed to force the consumption of a good or service, including health care.

  • Pharmaceuticals manufactured by American companies should not be sold to any other country for a price less than the price which it is sold in the United States.

  • Any medical device manufactured by American companies should not be sold to any other country for a price less than the price which it is sold in the United States.

  • All individuals and families should have the option to enroll in Medicare for a premium cost not to exceeded 10% of their annual gross salary with a maximum deductible out-of-pocket max of 5% of their annual gross salary.

  • If an individual chooses not to purchase health care insurance, payroll garnishing up to 25% should be allowed to collect debts owed.

IMMIGRATION

Immigrant Fostering Program

  • The number of immigrants allowed into the U.S.A. will be determined, largely in part, by the number of American families willing to take them in.

  • American families will volunteer to open their homes to an immigrant, or possibly the whole immigrant family.

  • Social workers will assist with the matching of American families to immigrant families.

  • The government will still have the responsibility of prescreening to identify those with a criminal past.

  • Immigrant foster families will provide food, clothing, a room or two in their home, and they will help the immigrants find employment.

GUN REFORM

  • 82% of weapons involved in mass shootings over the last decade were purchased legally. 18% of the weapons were purchased illegally.

  • The U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center released a report on Mass Attacks in Public Spaces: 64% percent of the attackers experienced mental health symptoms prior to their attack.

  • The information is irrefutable; the problem lies with legal access to guns by persons who are mentally ill.

  • Background checks for criminal and violent offenses as well as checks for past mental-health issues must be required for all firearms purchases.

FEDERAL TERM LIMITS

  • House of Representatives to be limited to four two-year terms.

  • Senators to be limited to two four-year terms.

  • President to continue to be limited to two four-year terms.
